The Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park (McNasby Oyster Company Campus) is a waterfront museum nestled in Annapolis The museum is proud to boast a renovated 2,500 sq. ft. exhibit room, waterside art gallery, and outdoor exhibits. The museum also offers free pier access for beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay. Guests can also choose to embark on heritage tours aboard Wilma Lee, a historic skipjack that was originally built for dredging oysters in 1940. Tours aboard the skipjack are popular so booking in advance is recommended.
Park
Guests can also visit the Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park at Back Creek, which boasts 12 acres of trails as well a picturesque waterfront area and event pavilion. The nature park is used mostly for educational purposes but is a great spot to explore if you’re visiting Annapolis and want to go somewhere more relaxing than downtown. If you like bird watching, this is the place for you! Get there early to try to spot our favorite birds, such as the Baltimore Oriole.
