Maryland Seafood Festival
Enjoy delicious crab, oysters, shrimp, mussels, fish, and more at the Maryland Seafood Festival. This two-day festival has been held annually since 1966 and now takes place in August at Susan Campbell Park. There are many activities for the whole family, including live music and a Crab Soup Cook-off. This festival is a great way to see downtown Annapolis and taste some local fare!
United States Boat Shows
Annapolis is proud to host boat shows throughout the year.
Come join us for the United States Powerboat Show held in October. See everything from opulent motor yachts to high-performance boats and offshore fishing vessels.The show is accompanied by a waterfront marketplace, boating lessons, rentals, and more.
Don’t miss the United States Sailboat Show, also held in October. Annapolis is the Sailing Capital of America, so this is an event that is not to be missed. In addition, check out the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show in April. Make sure to take a look at the sailboats and many vendors selling equipment.
Annapolis Crab Feast
The Annapolis Crab Feast is another great way to try our local cuisine. The “world’s largest crab feast” has been held every summer since 1946. The Rotary Club of Annapolis directs the proceeds of this event to the local community. Come eat all the crab you can at this fun event!
